The death of a man found in a car in the parking lot of Sobeys in Angus this week is being treated as non-suspicious, according to Nottawasaga OPP.
On the weekend, Const. Katy Viccary said the middle-aged man seemed to have died of natural causes.
“He was located on Thursday, (Jan.) 23,” she said. “A post-mortem has been ordered, but it appears to be natural and non-suspicious.”
Viccary said the man has been identified, but the OPP is still in the process of notifying next of kin, after which time the investigator would determine if further information would be released to the public.
Typically, it is not the policy of the OPP to release information on deaths from natural causes to the public.
