Credit cards used after being stolen from vehicle at south-end gym

Barrie Police are looking to identify two male suspects after a wallet and a cell phone were stolen from a vehicle at a Commerce Park Drive gym and various financial cards were used.

On the afternoon of Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018, the victim attended Goodlife Fitness on Commerce Park Drive in Barrie’s south end and confirmed that the vehicle was locked before entering the gym. Upon returning to her vehicle, she discovered the doors were unlocked, and her wallet and cell phone had been stolen. She immediately contacted Barrie Police and contacted her financial institutions to cancel the cards. Unfortunately, several cards were used at various gas stations and stores in the area.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect #1

  • Male, white
  • Short/shaved dark blonde hair and light beard
  • Wearing glasses, a black winter coat and a black baseball hat

Suspect #2

  • Male, white
  • Dark hair and full beard
  • Wearing a beige winter coat with a fur-trimmed hood, black sweatshirt and a black baseball hat

It is believed that the suspects were driving a newer-model, black, four-door Audi.
