Man arrested in connection to Patterson Road crash

At approximately 8:30 a.m. this morning, Friday, June 21, Barrie Police responded to a report of a vehicle that had struck a parked car on Patterson Road, and left the scene.

Upon arrival, officers found the struck vehicle with damage to the rear driver’s side. A short distance away, the suspect vehicle was located parked in a residential driveway with significant damage to the front passenger-side tire. 

The driver was located a short distance away and transported to a local hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. 

A 27-year-old Barrie man has been arrested will face charges of impaired operation of a motor vehicle, failure to remain and driving with a suspended license.
