INNISFIL, ON - On August 2, 2016 at 4:49 a.m. officers responded to a single motorcycle collision on Side Road #10 between the 2nd and 3rd Line of Innisfil.

Emergency crews located a 52-year-old Toronto man in a ditch who was later determined to be the motorcycle operator. The man was taken to a Toronto trauma centre with serious injuries.

He has since made a recovery and is no longer in hospital.

The roadway was closed for several hours while officers reconstructed the collision.

The investigation into the collision continued, and on today's date the man as charged Criminally with three counts of Possession of a controlled substance and Careless Driving under the Highway Traffic Act. The man will see a Judge in November to answer to these charges.
