TINY TOWNSHIP - Members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently at the scene of a structure fire on Doan Avenue in Tiny Township.
Officers are providing traffic control and if required will provide investigative support to the Township of Tiny Fire Service who is currently tasked with extinguishing the blaze.
Officers responded to a request by the Township of Tiny Fire Service at 10:58 a.m. on Jan. 21, 2019 as they were on scene extinguishing a fire that has engulfed a single level brick bungalow with attached double car garage at that location. County of Simcoe Paramedic Services attended the scene in a supporting role for staff involved in fighting the fire.
An investigation into the cause of the fire will be conducted by the Township of Tiny Fire Service, the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshall has also been contacted.
