Bearded man sought after hydraulic lift control panel theft

The Barrie Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance to identify a suspect responsible for a theft that occurred Jan. 1, 2017, just after 2 a.m., at No Frills located at 319 Blake Street, in the City of Barrie.

The suspect was captured on video surveillance approaching the back of the store on foot and climbing into the receiving dock area. The suspect then quickly unplugged and removed a hydraulic lift control panel and fled the area on foot heading eastbound.  

The investigation is ongoing.

The suspect is described as;

  • Male, white
  • 25 to 30 years old
  • Dark beard and goatee
  • Wearing a black toque, winter jacket, jeans and boots.
