Barrie police closed Bayfield Street at the intersection of Ferris Lane on Sunday after a cube van ran into a light standard earlier in the evening.
Motorists are being asked to find alternate routes around the area.
Police confirmed at 10:15 p.m. to BarrieToday that the intersection remains closed.
