Barrie driver registers more than three times the legal limit: OPP

A Barrie resident is facing numerous charges, including impaired driving, after being pulled over in Orillia on Friday night and registering more than three times the legal limit of alcohol in their system, according to provincial police.

Orillia OPP says the vehicle was stopped by officers at around 8 p.m. on Feb. 14.

Heather Osborne, 42, of Barrie, has been charged with:

  • Operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol
  • Operation while impaired (80 plus)
  • Having care or control of a vehicle with open container of liquor
  • Failure to surrender insurance card
  • Failure to produce permit
  • Failure to notify change of address.

None of the allegations have been tested in court.
