The Barrie Police Service is pleased to announce the release of the first episode of the Barrie Police Podcast. This first episode looks at the new Community Safety and Well-Being (CSWB) Teams, which launched in February.
Hear from officers involved with the CSWB teams including Const. Jamie Westcott, Sgt. Trevor Marsh and Insp. Val Gates.
Listeners will learn more about how the CSWB teams work closely with partner organizations to respond to certain calls for service where additional community resources would allow for a more effective response, and use a data-driven approach to deploy to areas and issues that require police attention.
