Members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a serious assault that occurred in a Lescaut Road residence in the town of Midland in the morning of Sunday Oct. 27, 2019. OPP officers were dispatched at 5:24 am along with County of Simcoe Paramedic Services who triaged and transported one victim to a local hospital with serious injuries.
This investigation is ongoing and further information will be released when it becomes available about what officers believe is an isolated incident.
