Adult, youth face charges after warrant executed in Angus

The Caledon Community Street Crime Unit of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), with assistance from the OPP Tactical Response Unit, executed a search warrant today (Wednesday) in Angus, Essa Township, as a result of a drug-trafficking investigation.

As a result, one adult and one youth were arrested and charged.

Brian Partridge, 39, of Angus was arrested and charged with fail to comply with undertaking.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford on Sept. 15.

The 15-year-old youth of Scarborough, protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was arrested and charged with possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking (opioid other than heroin), possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine), obstruct peace officer, and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie on Aug. 30.
