42-year-old Midland man allegedly offers store clerk cocaine

On February 23, 2017 a male attended a County Rd. #93 retail business and approached the female employee handing her a small package of cocaine. He then left the store.

The next day the same male attended the store and asked the female if she wanted more. When the female confronted the male he left the store. She then contacted police. 

Midland Police attended and seized the item and later confirmed it was in fact cocaine. Video surveillance of the male was obtained as well as a description of his vehicle.

On February 25, 2017 an officer with the Midland Police Service observed the male driving on County Rd. #93. 

A vehicle stop was conducted and the male was placed under arrest. A subsequent search located a quantity of drugs including cocaine. 

As a result of this incident a Midland man has been charged with drug related offences. He was later released on a promise to appear and has been ordered to attend Midland Court on the 27th of April 2017.

Charge – ​Trafficking a controlled substance S. 5(1) CDSA.

Possession of a controlled substance S. 4(1) CDSA.
