On January 14 2017 Barrie Police attended a rooming house on Parkside Drive after receiving information that a wanted male was there.
A 39-year-old male was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to comply with a probation order.
The male was located and it was learned there were additional outstanding charges relating to an incident on January 13 in which he assaulted and threatened his landlord.
The accused was arrested on the warrant and outstanding charges.
He was taken to the Barrie Police station and held for a bail hearing.
