18-year-old charged after police say Innisfil resident threatened with weapon

INNISFIL - An 18-year-old Bradford man has been charged following an incident where an Innisfil resident was threatened with a weapon.

On Monday, Feb. 4, 2019 around 6 p.m., South Simcoe Police officers were called to a report of a man with a weapon in the Jans Boulevard and Leslie Drive area of Innisfil.

Police were told that a resident had been threatened by a man with a weapon after the resident told the man to get off the victim's property. The suspect fled. The victim gave chase but the suspect got away. Investigation led police to locate a suspect later in the evening and make an arrest.

An 18-year-old Bradford man is charged with weapons dangerous, utter threats and fail to comply with probation. No one was injured in the incident.
