Man dies in hospital after falling from tour boat near Ontario Place in Toronto

Toronto police say a man has died after falling from a tour boat in the waters near Ontario Place on Sunday afternoon. 

Police say they responded to reports that a man had fallen from a boat and was in the water drowning.

They say their 14 division and marine units began a search for the man and reported that they had found him over two hours later.

Police say he was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown.

Police have not released the identity of the deceased.
