Passed peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket on Monday, July 11, 2016 in his 89th year. Loving husband of Annie (nee Hinze) for 67 years. Beloved father of Lorraine Horahan (Larry), Joan Logan (John), Wendy Singh (Harry) and Joe Zammit (Winnie). Cherished grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of 19. Will be sadly missed by his sister Joan Kelly, sister-in-law Vivian Coulter (Erston), and many lifelong friends. Visitation will be held at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd., Barrie on Saturday, July 16 from 10 am until the time we celebrate Albert’s life in the chapel at 12 pm. Following the service, guests are invited to remain for a reception luncheon in the lounge. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
