YONIK, Robert Michael (Rob)

Passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital with his family by his side. Rob was a wonderful son to Elsie Yonik, and brother to Donna Gould (Brian) and Darlene Monk (Doug). Rob dearly loved his nieces and nephews Rebecca, Brittni, Ryan and Brady. He was predeceased by his father Anthony Yonik. (1987). After suffering a stroke 17 years ago Rob showed great courage and strength every day of his life. Thanks to the amazing PSWs at his Edgehill home for assisting in his independent living during the passed 9 years. Robs generosity, intelligent mind and witty sense of humour will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Friends may call at the Jennett Funeral and Cremation Centre, 152 Bradford Street in Barrie on Saturday, June 24 from 9:00a.m. until the time of service at 11:00a.m. Private interment to take place at Prospect Cemetery later in the day.
