WILSON: Sara “Sally” Sandra (Falconer) (Chorley)

(Georgian College Nursing Program Alumni) passed away peacefully at Grove Park Home in Barrie on Tuesday, January 24th, 2017 in her 84th year. Sally was a bright light with a keen sense of humour and robust spirit. She was a loving mother, a teacher and Mentor to many a Georgian College Nursing Student. Sally embraced family, her many friends, horses, dogs and her life in the biggest way possible. She will be missed every day by son Jeff (Brenda), daughters Kim (Craig), Kelly (Mike); Grandchildren Christopher, Ashley, Alex, Laura, and Great Grandson Carson. Predeceased by sisters Myrtle Mae, Dolores, brother David and survived by loving sister Noreen and brother-in-law Don. Remembered by stepdaughters Kathy (Goran) Lynn (Ed) and family. The family thanks Dr. McTurk and the outstanding, professional and loving care provided by the Staff at Grove Park Home. Grove Park became Sally’s second home for the past 11 years as she lived out her second life with Alzheimer’s. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held in the spring in Barrie with family and close friends.
