Following a brief illness Jamie passed away at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Thursday, June 22nd, 2017. Jamie Vause at the age of 66 years, loving husband of Lyn; cherished father of Sara Vause (Bryce Southwick) and James Vause; proud granddad of Avalyn and Connor. Jamie will also be fondly remembered by his sisters Margaret (the late Jack) Sheffield, Marie (Joe) Srigley, his brothers John Vause, Jim Vause and Warren (Brenda) Vause and his in-laws Josephine Hammond, Kathleen (Dale) Swan and Joseph Hammond (Carol Roy) as well as his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother in-law, Lawson Hammond. Friends will be received at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME, 445 St. Vincent St. Barrie (just north of Cundles Rd.) on Sunday from 2 – 5 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 11 o’clock Monday, June 26th, 2017 with visitation from 10 a.m. Memorial donations to the Royal Victoria Regional Cancer Care Centre would be appreciated by the family.
