Adrian John Valks passed away peacefully on May 23, 2017 at Hospice Simcoe surrounded by family and much love. He will live on forever in the hearts of his wife, Candace, and his sons, Oliver and Henry. Adrian will be greatly missed by his parents, Sandra, John & Lisa; his mother-in-law, Linda, and his father-in-law, Ted. Adrian’s passing is also a great sadness for the siblings he leaves behind; Andrea, Lori (Bill), Christine and the late Billy, sister-in-law, Cindy, and brother-in-law, Chris (Melanie). Adrian was a loving uncle to Curtis, Trevor, Zachery, Mya and Chloe. He is also fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and dear friends. Adrian was a big-hearted soul who loved to laugh and bring joy to the world. He will be missed by all he touched. A celebration of Adrian’s life will take place at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, on Saturday, May 27, 2017 for a service in the chapel starting at 2:00pm. Visitation from 12 noon. Reception to follow. Donations in Adrian’s memory may be made to Hospice Simcoe or the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre Head and Neck Clinic and are appreciated by the family.
