THOMPSON, Violet

Passed peacefully at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Saturday May 14, 2016 in her 94th year. Predeceased by her husband Paul D. Thompson. Beloved mother of Judy Collins (Glen) of Milton, Chris Thompson (Jo) of Calgary, and Susan Duncan of Barrie. Cherished “Nanny” to Melanie, Andrew, Brooke, Chase, Meredith and Lee, and “Great Nanny” to Emily, Harrison, Jersey, Duke and Kayli. Violet lived a full life and will be sadly missed by those closest to her.
Services will be held on Sunday, May 22. Times are yet to be confirmed. In lieu of flowers, donations in Violet’s memory may be made to Hospice Simcoe and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
