TAYLOR, Ellie

Ellie Taylor, 84 years old, born in 1933, passed peacefully on October 14th with her family by her side. Predeceased by her loving husband of 55 years, Gerry (2011). Loved and cherished by her children Stephen (Michele) of Calgary, Greg (Selene) of Barrie and Kelly (Jamie) of Atlanta, Georgia. Loving grandmother to Caitlin, Taylor, Ted, Grace, William and Sunny (the poodle). Loving great grandmother to Simon. Ellie had room in her heart for anyone she met and was quick to welcome people into her home and her life. Her friends spanned the generations. The family expresses their sincere gratitude to Ellie’s caregivers at Amica for their warm and loving care and assistance. A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 4th at 2pm at Midhurst United Church (Midhurst, Ontario) with visitation at 1pm and a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for a donation to the Canadian Heart and Stroke foundation.
