(January 10, 1950 - July 20, 2019) - With family by his side Brian went Home to be with his Lord and Saviour at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the age of 69. Beloved husband to Lynda for 21 years. Loved father of Becky Melo (Johnny) and step-father to Cindy Hood (Phil), Cathy Hood (Paul) and Ronald Bowyer (Jennifer). Cherished Grandpa to Jack and Nev Melo; Phillip Hood (Samantha), Blair Hood (Amy); Julia and Jacob Hood; Hope, Paige and Charles Bowyer, and Natalie and James Dalton. Great Grandpa to Reese, Kensie, and Reyna. Dear brother to Douglas Storey (Barb); and Beth Kunz (late Karl Kunz). Friends will be received at Adams Funeral Home, 445 St. Vincent St. Barrie on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. and again on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Emmanuel Baptist Church 374 Salem Road, Barrie from 10 a.m. until time of Service at 11 o’clock a.m. Interment will take place later at Midhurst Union Cemetery.
