Passed away at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Sunday October 7, 2018 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Muriel Stoodley and survived by his wife Edith MacMunn-Stoodley. Beloved father of Ernie Stoodley and wife Nancy, Darrell Stoodley and wife Janet, and Heather Meier and husband Steve. Proud and loving grandpa of Sean, Andrew, Neil, Michael, Ian, the late Rebecca Winnie, and great grandpa of Logan, Keegan and Max. Survived by brothers and sisters Sheila, Edward, Frank, Henry, Harold, Diane and David. Predeceased by brothers and sister Ron, Roy and Pauline. Sadly missed by many other family members and friends. Guests will be received at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd., Barrie on Wednesday October 17, from 12 pm until the time we celebrate his life in the chapel at 1 pm. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hospital for Sick Children and are greatly appreciated.
