SMOUT, Doreen

Passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe on Saturday, April 23, 2016. Doreen Smout in her 86th year, loving wife of the late Gerald Smout. Cherished mother of Linda Hollins, Brian (Dorothy) Smout, Clinton (Catherine) Smout and Bev (Cam) Smiley. Devoted grandmother of Shannon (Dave), Kayla (Sam), Tyler, Morgan, Devon, Ian and Graham. Doreen is the beloved sister of Ronald (Edna) Glennester and the late Bill Glennester, Glenne Smout and Georgie Glennester. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Katie Moss, Dr. Nay and the staff at the RVH Cancer Care Centre. Special thanks to Allison from the Bayshore Home Health and Hospice Simcoe for their compassionate care. Friends may call at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME, 445 St. Vincent St. Barrie (just north of Cundles Rd.) on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 1-3 p.m. Tributes will be shared at 2 o’clock p.m.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Hospice Simcoe or The Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
