SHELENKO, Nick

Passed away at Grove Park Home, Barrie on Sunday November 12th, 2017. Nick Shelenko of Barrie in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Mary Frances “Fran” Shelenko. Dear father of Stefan, Chris (Sherri), Ann Schnurr (Wayne), and Pat Shelenko. Cherished grandfather of Leanne, Gillian, Kristine, Bradley, and Mikaela. Sadly missed by other dear family members and friends. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 65 Amelia St., Barrie on Friday November 17, starting at 10 am. A reception at the parish will follow. Following the reception, interment will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Barrie. Arrangements entrusted to Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie. If desired, in memoriam donations to the Barrie chapter of the Canadian Hearing Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
