Passed away in Barrie on Friday December 15, 2017 at the age of 81. Beloved husband and best friend of Elizabeth for 37 years. Dear stepfather of Linda Ecclestone (Jim), and Lee Reynolds (Ferg). Proud grandfather of Laura Ecclestone, Jamie Ecclestone, Matt Ecclestone, Christine Reynolds, Samantha Reynolds, Michele Reynolds, and great grandfather of Aidan, Liam, Lucas and Quinn. Survived by brother Sidney Sheard, and sister Joan Mercer. Predeceased by sister Dorothy. Herb was a strong cancer survivor and dedicated volunteer. Family and friends will be received at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd., Barrie on Friday December 29, from 1 to 3 pm.
