ROBINSON, Ronald 'Ron'

Passed away peacefully at Birchmere Retirement Home, Orillia on Monday September 10, 2018 in his 92nd year, formerly of Barrie and Alliston.  Survived by his son Paul (Lesley), 2 grandchildren James and Hayley (James), and by his great grandchild Barclay all of London, England.  Will be fondly remembered by his many friends.  Ron served with the British Merchant Navy during WW ll and worked for many years with Balakany Well Drilling in West Africa, and Baxter Labs in Alliston.  Following cremation a service of remembrance will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, South Barrie, (corner of Yonge Street and Mapleview Drive, East) on Monday September 17th at 2pm.  As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Ron may be made to St. Paul’s Anglican Church and may be made through the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, Coldwater (705-686-3344 or 1-888-645-5485).
