Clifford Elwood Reynolds of Barrie passed away peacefully Monday, October 23, 2017 at Roberta Place in Barrie at the age of 86. Predeceased by his partner Virginia McNiven. Loved forever by his children Saundra, Douglas, (Anita), Paul, (Heather), Ken (Susan), Christopher, (Cindy), Cheryle Keddy and their mother the late Helen Trzecak (Marchildon). Loving Papa Cliff to Paul Zuwerkalow, Christina Udoh (Dave), Katherine Pleasance (Shawn), Kira Wannamaker (Jay), Jessica Reynolds (James Savage), Laura Campeau (Blake), Sabrina Reynolds (Brad Philpott), Lindsay Reynolds, Scott Reynolds, Christopher Reynolds, Kyle Reynolds, Helen Reynolds (Ben Shipman), and Courtney Reynolds. Loving Great Grandfather Papa Cliff to Destiny, Hailey, Lyla, Peyton, Max, Jesse, William, Jordan R, Lucy, Olivia, Jordan P, Zachary, and Jaxson. Uncle and Great, Great Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Remembered by Cindy and Larry Giffen, Ryan Giffen (Kate), Colin Giffen (Jen), Ashley Birnie (John), Sherie Britnell and Joe Cannon, Kristen Thomson (Dave), Kayla Duerden (Zac), Austin and Allis Giffen, Harrison Birnie, Holden Thomson, Lylah and Quinn Duerden. Cliff will be missed by his friends Horst and Marolyn Trzecak. Cliff was born at home in Orr Lake and spent his early years in Elmvale. He is predeceased by his parents, William and Jean Reynolds (nee Drinkell), his brothers Fred, Frank, Walter, Percy, John, Arthur, Gerald, and his sisters Zelda, Verna, Lucy, Edith, Bertha and Dorothy. Guests will be received at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd., Barrie on Friday October 27, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral mass will take place at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 650 Essa Rd., Barrie, Ontario on Saturday October 28, 2017 starting at 10:30 am. A reception will follow in the parish hall. It is with much gratitude that we would like to thank the staff of Roberta Place Long Term Care Facility for their unbelievable support and compassion given to our father and family at this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Ontario Diabetes Association and to Roberta Place Long Term Care Facility and are greatly appreciated.
