(January 3, 1965 - March 13, 2019) - It is with great sadness that the family of Brian Chin Quan announces his passing on March 13th 2019, at the age of 54 years old after a brief but courageous fight with cancer at the Simcoe County Hospice in Barrie.
Born in Trinidad in 1965 to Mary Chin Quan (nee Moy Oi Jin) and Anthony Chin Quan, they migrated to Canada in 1977. He is predeceased by his father Anthony, (1973), his step father John Tang Yew Sr (2008) and his mother Mary (2018) as well as his brothers: Reynold, Roy and Wilfred.
Brian lived life to the fullest. He had a passion for life and always had a smile. He also enjoyed sports and was an avid Maple Leafs hockey fan. He enjoyed the outdoors and riding his motorcycle every opportunity he gets.
Brian touched each and everyone he came in contact with in a positive way. He had a passion for traveling and his goal was to travel around the world. He was fondly known as BCQ with his “Circle K” family, where he worked as a District Manager.
Peacefully, and surrounded by his family at his passing, he will be greatly missed by his wife, Dorothy, daughters Madison and Emma, siblings Lily, Ronald, Mary, Tony, John Jr., Roderick and Michael as well as his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and cousins.
Friends will be received at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME (445 St. Vincent Street Barrie) on Monday, March 18, 2019 from 12 p.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 1 p.m.
