Born in St. John New Brunswick July 28th, 1931 and passed away in Barrie, Ontario on February 15th, 2018. Dear partner and companion of Shirley Des Champs. Son of Louis Turnbull Potter of Bear River, Nova Scotia and Edith Mary Johnson of Saint-Louis-de-Kent, New Brunswick. Donald Louis Potter is survived by his family: Anna May (ex-wife), daughters Donna Jesso, Julianne Guselle, and son’s Scott Potter, Keith Potter and Don Potter Jr. Donald will also be missed by his 7 Grandchildren, 5 Great-Grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces. Survived by his sister Nora Sharpe and brother-in-law Walter of Bermuda. Pre-deceased by his brothers Louis Potter and Gerald Potter. We are very grateful for the wonderful care Dad received at Hospice Simcoe from staff and volunteers in his last days. He will be greatly missed by all. Cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life to follow at a later date. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto.
