March 18, 1935 - April 1, 2019 Passed away after a brave fight with cancer on Monday, April 1, 2019 at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie. Beloved husband of Peg and loving father of Steve (Mary) and Trish Later. He will be missed by his favourite grandson Nicolas Later. A born leader, having been owner and president of Slessor & Periard Insurance for over 30 years, Past President of Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario, Past President of Barrie Civitan Club, Past President of Huronia Rotary and long time treasurer of Collier St. United Church. Family will receive friends at Collier St. United Church on Monday, April 8 from 10:00am until time of service in the church at 11:00am. Reception to follow in the church hall.
