Passed away at Coleman Care Centre, Barrie on Friday, February 19, 2016 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Jean (nee Cochrane) for 60 years. Loving father of Lori Eaton (Tim), Scott Peacock (Tannis), and Mark Peacock (Dani). Cherished grandfather of Brad and Cara Eaton; Marissa and Angela Peacock; and Eric and Graydon Peacock. Dear brother of Ruth Garner (Tom); brother in-law of Kay Peacock, Dorothy Moodie, Marilyn Crosbie, Gary Amon, and Bill Cochrane (Marilyn). Predeceased by his parents Stanley and Mildred Peacock; brother Douglas; in-laws Weston and Bertha Cochrane, Leila and Edward Webb, Earl Moodie, Graham Crosbie, Eleanor Amon, Shirley and Keith Breedon, and Jack Cochrane. A ‘Gathering of Friends’ will be held at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME 445 St. Vincent Street, Barrie on Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 1-4 p.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian Hearing Society, the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
