(May 27, 1924 - November 26, 2018) - Passed away peacefully at Victoria Village in Barrie on Monday, November 26, 2018, at age 94. Raised in Gracehill, Northern Ireland, she immigrated with her husband and children to Canada in 1966. Rosetta was a faithful Christian, a strong and resourceful mother, a talented artist and a lover of crossword puzzles. She was full of energy, ahead of her day, and into natural medicine and homeopathy long before it became mainstream. She was ‘My Etta’ to the late Harold Paisley, evangelist, during their 69 years of marriage. Loving mother of Kenneth, Ruth (Alastair), Harold (Sharon) and Linda (David). Proud Nana/Grandma to Douglas (Alice), Rosalyn (John), Kyle (Meredith), Megan, David, Mark (Tracy) and Joshua. Delighted by the arrival of great-grandchildren Keziah, Daniel and wee John Al. Grateful thanks to all the caregivers who provided comfort during her final years. She is now at peace, at home with the Lord and reunited with her husband.
As per Rosetta’s wishes a private service to be held at Adams Funeral Home on Saturday, December 1, 2018, with internment to follow. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Redwood Park Communities, Hope Through Housing would be appreciated by the family.
