Passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Wednesday, April 25
th, 2018 in his 85
th year. Beloved husband of the late Verna Oakes. Loving father of Jim (Joy) of Wasaga Beach, Dan (Joeann), Tom, Tim, Peggy, and Cathy (Jim) all of Barrie. Cherished grandfather of Darryl, D’Arcy, Sean, Krista, Heather, Christopher, Dylan, Nicole, Joseph, Scott, Cassandra, Nicolas, Brittni, and 9 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Shirley Akins, Elaine Wicklum, and pre-deceased by sister Fern McFadden. Also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews.
