(AKA Harv, Uncle Harv, Dad, Grandpa, Granddad, & Sweet Pea) – Died peacefully Friday, December 21st, 2018 at Roberta Place Long Term Care, in Barrie, at 101 years young.
Dear husband of the late Jean. Cherished father of Carolyn (the late Joe), Marolyn (Eldon), Margret, Alex (Wenda), Ferne (Bob), and David (Mila). Loving grandfather of 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Predeceased by siblings Edna, Bessie, Fred, Wilf, Jean, Lilian, George, Hazel, Grace, Gordon, Jennie and Clifford.
Also predeceased by grandsons Darcy and Shawn. Harvey will be dearly missed by his many loved ones who admired his sense of humour, talent for farming and beautiful loving relationship with his wife of 65 years. The Oades family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Roberta Place for the care that Harvey received during his time there.
