Peacefully passed away at Hospice Simcoe on December 3, 2016 in his 75th year. Son of the late Ruth and Lloyd Norton. Beloved husband and best friend of Pat for 30 years. Dearly loved father of Kelly (Eric) Traves, and the late James Norton. Dear step father of John (Sharon) Hickling, Dennis (Kim) Hickling, Steven (Jennifer) Hickling, and Nancy (Robert) Triola. Proud grandpa of Alexandra, Bethany (Derek), Eric (Skye), Jesse, Cassandra, Stephanie (Corey), Cole, Amber, Stephen, Nolan, Dustin, Isaac, Laura, Danielle and great grandpa of Carter, Parker, Allison, Xion, and Persephone. Survived by sisters Carol, Kathy, Margie and brothers Harry, John and Ted. Guests will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Wednesday December 7, 2016 from 9 am until the time we celebrate his life in the chapel at 10 am. A reception will follow the service followed by burial at St. James Crown Hill Cemetery.
