NORMAN, Frances

Peacefully, while surrounded by family, at IOOF on Friday October 28, 2016, in her 87th year. Loving wife of George for 61 years. Honoured mother of Stuart, Alan, Jim and Beth. Cherished grandmother of Lynn, Annie, Conor, Keara, Matthew and Christopher. Frances had a fulfilling career as a nurse and worked at Sudbury Memorial Hospital, taking time off only to raise her children. She will be sadly missed by many lifelong friends. Guests are invited to celebrate Frances’ life at a gathering luncheon at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd, Barrie, on Sunday November 6th, from 2pm until 4pm. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Central United Church Barrie or Hospice Simcoe and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
