Nicole Marchand (nee Jannis)

After a courageous battle with cancer Nicole passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 with her loving family at her side. Nicole Marchand in her 31st year cherished wife of Derek Marchand. Much loved daughter of Lesley Jannis (Stan Presz) and Nick Jannis. Adored sister of Dan (Bubba) Jannis (Rachael Allin) and special daughter in-law of Sandra Marchand (Glenn Chislett) and Michael (Leslie) Marchand. Nicole will also be fondly remembered by her brother and sister in-law Matthew and Shannon Marchand along with her “fur baby” Abby. Friends may call at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME, 445 St. Vincent St. Barrie (just north of Cundles Rd.) on Saturday, February 20th from 6 – 9 pm and Sunday from 12 – 2 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Mapleview Community Church, 300 Mapleview Drive West, Barrie on Sunday February 21, 2016 at 3 o’clock followed by a Celebration of Nicole’s life at the Ferndale Banquet Hall, 24 Ferndale Industrial Dr, Barrie commencing at 6 p.m. Spring interment Barrie Union Cemetery.
