Passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, March 13, 2020 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Bessie for 59 years. Cherished father of Sofia Moutzouris (Stephen Jones) and Jim Moutzouris (Susan). Loved grandfather of Ali and Clayton (Emily Benoit). Dear brother of Thanasi Moutzouris, Despina Kanteraki, Fotini Moutzouri and predeceased by George, Nikos, Sotirios Moutzouris, Stamatia Moshos and Peter and Tasia Kourniotis. Brother-in-law to Constantine and Irene Intounas; Chris and Eugenia Intounas; and Zacharias and Eugenia Kyriakopoulos.
Friends will be received at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME 445 St. Vincent Street, Barrie on Monday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. with prayers at 7 o’clock p.m. Funeral Service will be held from Holy Cross – St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church 572 Penetanguishene Rd, Barrie on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 10 o’clock a.m. Interment Crown Hill Cemetery. A luncheon will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #147 (entrance off Ferris Lane) from 12-3 p.m. Memorial donations to the RVH Cardio-Respiratory Clinic or the Heart Function Clinic would be appreciated by the family.
