Peacefully surrounded by his family at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Monday February 22, 2016, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Beverly. Dear father of Ross (Barbara), Kathy Emms (Greg) and Terry. Proud grandpa of Alex and Megan. Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and great nephews. Family and friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, on Friday February 26th, from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. A celebration of Emory’s life will take place in the Chapel on Saturday February 27th, at 2:30pm. Interment will take place at Barrie Union Cemetery in the spring. If desired, memorial donations may be made to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church or, the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation and are greatly appreciated by the family.
