Passed peacefully at RVH in Barrie on July 29, 2019 at the age of 76 years. Karen is fondly remembered by her family and friends for her easy smile, positive attitude and love of family. She lived life to the fullest as an avid quilter and seamstress, bridge player and loved the cottage at Six Mile Lake. Loving wife to L. Frank Meher and beloved mother to Laurie Meher-McCleave, Patricia Lynn (deceased), and Katherine McKim and mother-in-law to Todd McCleave and Paul McKim. Adoring grandmother to Kyle and Shaun McKim and Thompson McCleave. She will also be missed by her sister Lois & husband Larry Ross and brother Doug & wife Isobel Rosevear; nieces and nephews Tim Ross, Jennifer Ross, Sherri (Rosevear) Depelsmaeker and Ken Rosevear. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Royal Victoria Hospital for all of the care and support shown to Karen. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at 328 Ardagh Road, Barrie, on Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Karen’s memory may be made to assist in the research and cure for Scleroderma at the Scleroderma Society of Ontario; www.sclerodermaontario.ca.
