We are saddened to announce the death of Wilfred James McMechan of Barrie, previously of Oro Station at the age of 87 years. His passing took place on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie. Wilf was born on September 12, 1930 to the late John and Mary (nee Drybrough) of East York. Wilf was married 54 years to Marilyn (nee Lytle) (deceased 2010). Predeceased by infant son Edward. Father of Robert and Lori McMechan. Grandpa of Cameron and Kaitlynn. Brother to Colin (deceased 2018) and Norma McMechan.
