Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Hospice Simcoe on September 6, 2016. Beloved wife and best friend of Mike. Dear mother of Craig (Caroline), and Chris (Lisa). Proud and loving grandmother of Jacob and Hannah. Survived by sister Edna Wallace and brother Donald Pugh. Predeceased by her parents Howard and Mildred Pugh. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and other dear family members. Gladys had 2 great loves in her life, her family and her beloved cats, especially “Tasha”, who was a great comfort to her during her illness. A mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 65 Amelia Street, Barrie, on Saturday, September 10, 2016 starting at 12 noon. Reception to follow. A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Simcoe or the Canadian Cancer Society and are greatly appreciated.
