Passed peacefully at her home in Barrie on Friday, November 30th, 2018 at the age of 85. Predeceased by her beloved husband William in 1992. Loving mother of Janette Farrell (Rod), Diana MacLeod (Thomas), Brent McIvor, Brian McIvor and Brenda Burgess (Steven). Cherished grandmother of Kirk (Meaghen) and Kerry Harrison (Kevin) and great grandmother of Athena, Wyatt, Aiden and Brady. Will be sadly missed by her best friends Kay and Roger Scudder and their family. Guests are invited to join the family in celebrating Thelma’s life from 1 – 3 pm on Sunday, December 9th, 2018 at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie. Light refreshments will be served, with Words of Remembrance to begin at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
