Loving mother to Jayne (Warren), Curtis (April), and Lynda.  Beloved Bahba to Madeline, Sophie, Parker, Owen, Magdalena, and Tallulah.  Predeceased by her husband Gordon and her parents: Jakob and Magdalena Hrehirchuk.  Dear sister of Ann Kilistoff (late Joe): and  Pearl McNaughton (late Jack), both of British Columbia: and the late Mary, Michael, George, Nick , Kost (Rita), Marie, and Bill.  She will be fondly remembered by all of her family and friends. Special thank you to the doctors and nurses at Carlo Fidani  Cancer Centre, the Oncology and Palliative Units of Credit Valley Hospital,  and to the entire Evergreen Retirement Community. Helen graduated from The Faculty of Nursing, University of Alberta, Class of ’57. After nursing in various hospitals across Canada, she finished her career in Barrie – The VON of Simcoe County.  She was a longtime member at Collier Street United Church - Barrie, Barrie Lioness, The Probus Club –Barrie, volunteer Hospice Simcoe, and stayed active with many social clubs.  A Memorial Service will be held at Meadowvale Funeral  Centre, 7732 Mavis Rd., Brampton (north of HWY 407 and south of Steeles Ave., 905-451-3716) on Wednesday July 11 at 1 pm. With visitation from 11 am until time of service.   A Celebration Of Helen’s Life will be held on Sunday July 15th at Collier Street United Church, 112 Collier St, Barrie  from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm.  In Memory of Helen, donations may be made to Credit Valley Hospital, Ian Anderson House or Hospice Simcoe.
