Cherished husband of Lynne, proud father of Frances and Grant (Linda) and stepchildren Andrea (Marshall) and Chris, 7 grandchildren 2 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Alice and Bill, brother Hugh and sister Ann (Ken). Survived by his brother Robert (Dorothy), sister Kathryn, mother in law Irene, nieces, nephews and family and friends in the U.K.

James was born in Toronto and raised in Scotland. The family immigrated to Canada after the war.   A ‘man for all seasons’, his many loves included family, being a grandpa, fishing, golfing with the ‘boys’, reading, music, films, musicals, history, playing the piano and accordion, visits with his Auntie Betty, cousins and friends in Scotland, CCP Shows and pretty much all creatures great and small.

Throughout his illness, James never lost his wonderful sense of humour or his deep appreciation for the kindness, love and support that surrounded him. He will be remembered for his charm, wit, warmth, humour and of course, for being the ‘ultimate fun Grandpa’!

“Ae fond kiss…”
