(July 20, 1943 - January 27, 2019) - Passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Kathy for 53 years. Cherished dad to Mark (Maria) and Jody. Dear Papa of Isabella, Samantha, Matthew and Lilyanna. Brother of Janet (Sandy) Richmond and the late Barbara (Bob) Anderson. Beloved uncle of Lisa Richmond, Melissa Lappin, Michael Roberts, Chantal Keating and the late Ryan Keating and Marsha Anderson. Brother-in-law to Jean (Eric) and Beverley (Wally). Don will be sadly missed by many cousins extended family and friends. Don was a life member of Kinsmen, the Barrie Curling Club and Burton Avenue United Church. He worked as a Barrie Fire Fighter for 33 years and retired as a Platoon Chief.
