LATENDRESSE, Shirley (nee Borrow)

Peacefully surrounded by her family at Grove Park Home Barrie on Wednesday October 11th, 2017 in her 90th year. Dear mother of Betty Read (Bruce), Brenda Lapointe (Gord), David Latendresse (Pam), Allan Latendresse (Pat), and Donna Latendresse (Mike). Proud Grandma of 10 and Great Grandma of 12. Survived by her sisters Audrey Webb, Betty Trottier, Eileen Graham, Donna Simpkin, Gerogetta Marshall, Iva-Jean Andrews, and Heather Borrow. Pre-deceased by brothers and Sister Morley Borrow, Gerald Chard, Beverly Madaigan , Billy and Ronald Borrow. Guests will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral home, 201 Minet’s Point Road, Barrie on Saturday October 14th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A celebration of Shirley’s life will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Sunday October 15th starting at 11 am. Visitation from 10 am. A reception will follow at the funeral home. Burial will take place on Monday October 16, at St. Andrew’s-St. James cemetery in Orillia at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation and are greatly appreciated.
