KOSTANDOFF, Louis

Beloved husband of Lois (née Warner), devoted father of Carolyn (Yves) Berthelet and Mark (Kate) Kostandoff, and proud grandfather of Emily and Adam Kostandoff. Lou is survived by his sister Catherine Tirpko and his brother Phil (Gail) Kostandoff. Louis was predeceased by his parents Olga (née Temelcoff) and James Kostandoff.

Lou was a faithful Presbyterian and an active Mason and Shriner. He worked most of his life in the dairy business; starting at Silverwood Dairies as a milkman, he became the branch manager in several Ontario cities. He finished his working life as the Barrie Licence Issuing Agent for the Ontario Ministry of Transportation. Throughout his life Lou enjoyed helping others, particularly the elderly and those who were otherwise alone. In recent years he was a resident of Victoria Village and the family would like to thank the staff there for the care they gave Lou.

A service in memory of Louis will be held at St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Barrie on Wednesday March 14th at 11:30. The family will welcome friends at a reception immediately following the service in the Church Hall.
